The second installment in our irregular series on fashions from around the globe. I travelled to Peru recently and was amazed at the colour palette and layering of tradition highland wardrobe despite 30 degree heat. Flashbacks of Marnie Skilling circa 2008, woolen stirruped leg warmers, cardigans, knee length pleated skirts and felt hats. As per Cambodia, plastic shopping bags in complimentary colours.

Unwired
We worked on these about 18 months ago with Three Drunk Monkey's and Simon Harsent. Location wise it wasn't entirely enjoyable but in hindsight they look great with lots of texture and depth. It is nice to see advertising that does involve complete gentrification of society.

The Australian
I shot these very simple portraits last year with Simon Harsent for The Australian. All natural light, depth of field and reflections.

Jacobs Creek
Earlier this year I posted some behind the scenes images of Nate and I garden styling. The image on the left is the end result of our tropical garden balcony creation. The balcony itself was only about 2.5m x 80cm so there was challenge to fit established palm trees on the narrow ledge. The drummer execution was set built in studio and extensively propped. Note my artistic handy work in the painting - copyright free! All elements were shot by Gary Sheppard and combined in these fictional landscapes.

Willow
Jenni Hare is a close friend who has been based in London for the last two years. We shot this story featuring the stunning Sam Doughty early this year. Jenni was seeing embracing the late summer southern hemisphere light and it was great to see a familiar subject matter through new eyes. I used a range of local and international labels from newcomers like Christopher Esber, and Romance Was Born, to Willow and Burberry to create this off beat fantasy world.

Urban Art
Macquarie Visions is part of the Vivid Festival. This nocturnal adventure highlights some of Sydney's inner city architectural heritage and takes the viewer on an educational tour of the city founders. Architecture and lights are two long standing favorites of ours.

ANZ
Jo and Nate shot this ANZ campaign last year with Toby Burrows with only a couple of days notice and 67 talent. Shot in Sydney CBD in and around the TVC shoot. They did a amazing job with such little lead time using predominately our own wardrobe hire stock to save on time and money.
