Janai joined forces with Steven Popovich towards the end of 2012 to shoot Nikita Redmond, a new model with London Management. The 15yr old beauty blessed with Italian and Fijian heritage is definitely one to watch. Janai’s stylistic interpretation of modern tribal, juxtaposes paisley and floral print with geometric pattern clashes. Referencing 1980’s silhouettes, high-waisted pants, crop tops and turbans this ethnic mash up truly brings out the strength in young Nikita’s amazing genetics and poise. The hair and make up by Margo Regan top the look with smoldering intensity and a rough edgy finish.

Extravagant props, executive desks, chairs and high-end furnishings consisting of plush carpets, lavish curtains, intricate sculptures and an abundance of flowers were sourced by JAS from all corners of Sydney and bumped (carefully) into the Royal Automobile Club Australia in December 2012 as back drop for CBA’s latest campaign.

Conceptualized by M&C Saatchi, the tag line ‘Get your working life off to a flying start’ was brought to life by our styling team with carefully selected wardrobe and props to characterize a young woman new to the workplace, rapidly reaching CEO status thanks to CBA’s special saving’s package for young workers.

Magpie Darling - Push It

Ads may be our bread and butter, however editorial is a creative release. One such editorial has been picked up by online mag Magpie Darling,  ‘Push It’ shot by Amanda Austin.  Using this exploration of colour blocking, we worked with Amanda to adapt this seasonal trend by adding tones and textures to the mix. The depth is created by tints and shades of similar colour ways per outfit. Creating this colour wheel series offers an eye catching, stimulating piece. Matching structured tailoring, strong eyes and brows by Make-Up artist Margo Regan, a dominating, fashionable woman is portrayed.
