Earlier
this year a massive campaign for Pump flavoured waters hit the streets… seen on
buses, billboards, train stations plus more, and JAS was lucky enough to be
involved behind the scenes. Janai teamed up with photographer Ian Butterworth
to capture the fresh excitement linked to the infused water drinks. Custom
spray-painting inflatable boat tow-rings to match pop colour cozzies, and
perfecting the ideal water splash! Working on specially built scaffolding in
Sun Studios, with mini swimming pools, buckets and mops, it was a wet and
wonderful day, leaving everyone looking forward to summer and the sun. A
special shout-out must go to the talent who had to bob in icy water all day!

Cannon
We worked on this campaign with Ian Butterworth last year for Cannon, it had two parts, a before and after zoom effect. In the before shots the Tiger was depicted in its natural environment and the singer at a rock concert. The images were displayed on huge digital screen at Westfield Bondi Junction. The before images would come up on screen then zoom into the images above. Cool Ahh...

LG
The LG bubble keeps one free from allergens, we had enormous fun making this little bubble world. It was shot by Ian Butterworth on a tiny set, only about six feet each way and had this gorgeous mural printed on it. Little elements like the quilt cover and tissue box reference the environment. I developed a new found skill/love of blowing bubbles.

Head and Shoulders

Ian Butterworth and I worked on this initiative shoot with Saatchi & Saatchi for Head and Shoulders. Unfortunately Proctor & Gamble were not quite as visionary as art director Toby Pike and choose not to run the campaign. Sheldon Wade did some fabulous make up and I got to create crusty gothic creatures to my hearts content!Sunday, September 27, 2009
Tourism Australia
2009 seems to be the year of the underwater shoot and I am very proud to employ a scuba stylist!
We recently styled this underwater campaign for Tourism Australia. Shot by Ian Butterworth it depicts a heavily stylised business conference in an underwater Australian environment. Special clothing had to be constructed to hold its colour and move well underwater. All talent and props were shot underwater at an Aquatic centre and pieced together with landscape and underwater wildlife images. You can also see the behind the scenes on my website
